Clearing the Party Poker Bonus

The PartyPoker deposit bonus is easy to clear. All that needs to be done is to play real money cash games or tournaments. As you play you will earn PartyPoints, which are used to clear your bonuses, among other things. It takes 6 PartyPoints to clear each $1 (US or Canadian), while it takes 8 PartyPoints for Euro and 9 PartyPoints in Sterling. The bonus is broken up into 10 parts, each of which is cleared individually. This is great, since even if you are not able to clear the entire bonus, you can still receive part of it.

For example, if you were to deposit at least $500, you would receive a $500 bonus, placed into a special bonus account. The bonus is then broken into ten $50 parts, equaling the $500 total bonus. As you play and earn PartyPoints, they will accumulate until you earn 300 PartyPoints. At that point, $50 will be transferred from your bonus account into your real money playing account. This will continue until you have cleared the entire bonus.

The bonus will expire 60 days after you make your first deposit. Any portion of it that is uncleared will be void so be sure to grind as much as you can while the bonus is there for the taking!

Earning PartyPoints

As stated, earning PartyPoints is as simple as playing real money games. It does not matter which poker game you play, as long as it is for real money, you will earn points.

2 PartyPoints are earned for each $1 in rake paid while playing cash games.
2 PartyPoints are earned for each $1 paid in tournament fees, whether Sit and Go or Multi-table.

The PartyPoints may be used for several different purposes. The one we recommend is to purchase cash bonuses with your points. At the highest levels these bonuses can equal 40% Party Poker rakeback, which is very valuable. Even at the lower levels, the Party Poker rakeback equivalent can be worth more than many sites offer in regular rakeback. Party Poker does not offer rakeback in the traditional sense, so taking advantage of these bonuses is very important. Our Party Poker Rakeback page has even more information including a breakdown of the earnings potential.

The points may also be use for purchases in the Party Store, gift certificates, and tournament buy-ins. They have a lot of great items and it is always great to get cool gear without spending any actual cash!
